You Be My Adam, I'll Be Your Eve

So Tim and I are walking over to the equipment and I see my favorite male specimen. He looks like Chad Smith, the robot guy from Step Up 3 and LXD. Beautiful face with a tall muscular but slender body. He's meticulous with his workout. He carries around his backpack from station to station so he can write down his exercises into his leather-bound journal. I whisper to Tim while we are still a safe distance away, "There's my future husband".  Indiscreetly Tim says, "Who Adam?!?!" Mortified! I like to think that he didn't hear that over his headphones but my paranoia made his glances toward me that much more painful.

I finish my resistance training and go to my usual corner spot on the elliptical. I've got a great view of God's greatest gift from there. I'm having to avert my stare between his pullups, pushups, and deadlifts but I don't think I was successful. I even got a smile by the end of my workout.....Maybe someday I'll work up the courage to say, "Hi" instead of drool and lick my lips from afar.....or maybe not, sometimes fantasies are best kept just that, fantasies.
